Placement Management System using asp.net with Csharp<\/h2>\n

The project named \u201cPlacement Management System\u201d, a student\/company information system is a window based application created in Core Java. The project has been developed on the basis of \u201cPlacement Cell\u201d being presently used in the University for storing and retrieving the information of students and companies who are registered in placement cell. The Placement Cell maintains a large database of students wherein all the information of student including the personal records and the academic performance in terms of the marks and grades is stored and company information including resume of company and facilities it provide. Placement Management System<\/a><\/em><\/strong> The software retrieves this data and displays as per the user requirement.<\/p>\n

Existing System<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The existing system describes the features of the previous working model and their drawback. Existing system does all process manually. Placement officers register the information of students. If any modifications or updates are required in the profile of any student, it has to be done manually. This is tedious and time consuming, lack of security of data, took more man power, and consumes large volume of paper and space. This process is so difficult when number of user\u2019s increases.<\/p>\n

DISADVANTAGES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Materials posted must be in the legal possession of the Library, faculty member, or the institution; or legally obtained, and must be used solely for non-profit, educational purposes.\u00a0 It is preferable to link to materials already legally available rather than photocopying or scanning and posting a digital copy.<\/p>\n

\u00a0All scans or reproductions posted should represent a small portion of the whole copyrighted work. Library staff (see below) can offer guidance about the appropriate proportion to use. Complete works (such as a whole book, whole album of music, or whole journal issue) should not be posted without permission.<\/p>\n

Proposed System<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The aim of the proposed system is to develop a system with improved facilities. Our project has a big scope to do. Students can access previous information about placement. We can stores information of all students. Various companies can access their information. Notifications are sent to students about the companies.<\/p>\n

The proposed system can overcome all the limitation of the existing system, such as student\u2019s information is maintained in the database, it gives more security to data, ensures data accuracy, reduces paper work and save time, only eligible students get chance, it makes information flow efficient and paves way for easy report generation, reduce the space. Proposed system is cost effective.<\/p>\n

ADVANTAGES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

User interface is very easy. Data storing and recovery is fast and secured. In addition, application is provided with graphical representation for easier interpretation and analysis.Reports are easily generated: Various reports such as Student wise attendance, Day wise attendance, Class wise attendance, Month Wise Class Attendance etc can be easily generated. Current and back-dated reports can be available instantly. No paperwork and no risk of errors which can be occurred while marking the attendance manually.<\/p>\n
