Existing System:

There is little to no use of digital platforms, especially in rural areas where internet use is limited. Some existing online solutions do exist, but they are either too complex, not agriculture-specific, or not suitable for small-scale users and students learning system design. These platforms typically lack features like admin-based product management or user-based purchase workflows tailored for agricultural use. For example, there is no basic module that allows an admin to create or manage product listings, nor are there simple user features such as account creation, secure login, or a streamlined purchase flow. Additionally, there are no learning-focused analytics features that could help understand basic user behavior. Overall, the current systems do not provide a simplified, educational platform that demonstrates how e-commerce can be applied to agriculture, especially from a student project perspective using technologies like the MERN stack.

Disadvantages of Existing System
