Online Movies Job Recruitment Management System
The aim of this project is to develops an online Movies job Portal for the Placement of Film makers. The system is an online application that can be accessed throughout the organization and outside as well with proper login provided. This system can be used as an Online Job Portal for the Placement of film makers to manage the user’s information with regards to placement. User logging should be able to upload their information in the form of a CV. Visitors/Company representatives logging in may also access/search any information put up by User.
The web application “Movies Job recruitment Portal” provides an easy and convenient search application for the Users (model or actor/ actress) to find their desired jobs and for the recruiters to find the right candidate. Users (model or actor/ actress) from any background can search for the current job openings. Users (model or actor/ actress) can register with the application and update their details and skill set. They can search for available jobs and apply to their desired positions. Android, being open source has already made its mark in the mobile application development. To make things handy, the user functionalities are developed as an Android application. Admin can register with the application and posts their current openings. Then, Directors will be conduct the audition for the user. They can view the Job applicants and can screen them according to the best fit. Existing system:
All processes in existing system are handled manually. All the work that is done in the existing system is done by the human intervention .As all the work is done manually, there were a lot of workload on placement officer and it also increases the maximum chances of errors. This is so slow and time consuming. Due to increase in number of user’s the process become more difficult. In the system. This big problem is the searching; sorting and updating of the student data and no any notification method available for giving information to student except the notice board.
Proposed System:
The proposed system is a android based application which allows applicants and User to register their details. Applicants can browse through the vacancy details that are posted and can apply for the jobs online. Director can browse through the posted resumes and select suitable candidates. Filter, Search facility for User according to their required vacancy. Daily updates via notifications and other communication media. Sending resume saves effort, time and cost of user All vacancies are available on a single interface user can set privacy level for different companies user can save jobs according to their needs Most recent jobs are displayed on the home page Counting the number of times the resume of a user is accessed by the company.
