Vendor Management System using asp.net with Csharp
Vendor Management System provides catering, medicines and other items to the ship, from which every harbor they reach through the supplier. The items that are necessary for a ship voyage are ordered by the ship store to the management. Then all the ordered items will be sent to the supplier’s .The suppliers will view the orders and prepare a quotation form for the respective orders. Suppliers will send the quotation forms to the ship store administrator. It is only the administrator, who views all the quotations and selects the best supplier. Mail will be sent to the best supplier in order to notice them that their quotation is being selected and then to supply the ordered items to the corresponding ships. The ship store can also update their order one day after they have ordered for the first time .They can also view their order either by selecting the location, or shipname, or by entering the order date. Even the suppliers can also view their quotation form. A new ship store or the supplier can also join this system. First they should register themselves; by giving their entire details .They can also update their account details at any time.

Existing System
All of the works in the ship store system are done manually. The orders are given by the ship store before longer time manually. Even the quotation should be send by the suppliers a long time before. It will take timing and accuracy also one of the problems.
DISADVANTAGES
The existing system is done by manually, the ship store details have to enter the details of the ordering items which they want to for a particular voyage.
- Only the items which are existing with the suppliers are to be ordered, which is not a limitation in the proposed system.
- They can order for any required items.
- The ship store cannot update their order, once they are ordered. The quotations are to be send by the suppliers immediately
- If not their quotation will not be accepted by the administrator of the ship store system.
Proposed System
Ship Store System is to provide best services from the suppliers at the best price. Here the ships order for the items, which are required for the voyage .They, can order any kind of items. For instance, they can order for any catering items, medicines, stationary items etc. The location the goods had to be delivered and the date of delivery all these details are to be given by the ship store. All the orders from various ship store, will be issued to all the suppliers. The suppliers in turn view the orders and prepare the quotations for the orders. The quotation forms will be verified and viewed by the administrator of the ship store system. From all the quotations, best supplier will be chosen. The admin of the ship store system sends the notice to the selected supplier, the details of the ship are given.
