Prison Management System using asp.net with Csharp
Prison Information System can maintain the all details about the Prison. It covers the core functions of a prison performed by the Remission Section of the prison. It is useful for both performing the day-to-day routine jobs as well as for providing appropriate information for the administration at different levels including District Collector, District Police Office, Courts, the Prison Headquarters, etc.
Admission of Prisoners, Production of Remand / Under Trial Prisoners in Courts for hearing, Maintenance of History Ticket for Convict Prisoners, Remission & Release Date Calculation for Convict Prisoners, Detention of Detente / Civil Prisoners, Disposal of Prisoners and Lockup Calculation.
Prison Management System using asp.net with Csharp It may be noted here that Remission calculation is a complex process since it involves arriving at the release date of a convict prisoner after considering a lot of factors and parameters including the following-
- Single/Multiple Convictions
- Concurrency/Consecutiveness within/across convictions
- Set-Off Period and Set-Off Remission
- At-Large Period (Bail, Leave, Escape, etc.)
- Fine Sentence
- Labour and Good Conduct Remission
- Change of Labour Grade

Existing System
Present system is manual. It also maintains the Prison information in records. Which is much of time consuming process and more importantly it is error prone.
DISADVANTAGES
- It is time consuming
- It leads to error prone results
- It consumes lot of manpower to better results
- It lacks of data security
- Retrieval of data takes lot of time
- Percentage of accuracy is less
- Reports take time to produce
